  • Welcome to the heart of Saudi Arabia! Arrive at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and navigate through Passport Control for immigration, followed by baggage collection and customs clearance. Upon exiting, meet our friendly representative in the arrival lounge who will assist with your transfer to the luxurious Centro Olaya 4-star Hotel or a similar property for a seamless check-in. Spend your evening at leisure, exploring Riyadh’s vibrant atmosphere, and join fellow travelers for a delightful welcome dinner in Riyadh.

  • Kickstart your Saudi Arabia adventure with a guided Riyadh city tour. Begin at Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the cradle of the first Saudi Kingdom. Explore Al Turaif, the historic citadel and former seat of the Al Saud family, featuring the Diriyah Museum and the iconic Al Zawihra Mosque. Tour Fitness Level:

Moderate: Fits all age groups with good health, some fitness level, and a sense of adventure. There will be some long walking days and a bit of standing while touring. Access to some of the sites and attractions will require walking on uneven terrain or steep staircases. Few elevations, a pleasant but busy schedule, and several long overland drives during the tour. Feel free to discuss the details of the trip with us.

Lodging Level:

Comfortable (3/4-stars): Lodges and hotels that provide a decent size room & an ensuite bathroom. A range of enhanced services, some of the onsite amenities, and a level of service that is acceptable by international standards.

Visa & Passport:

U.S. citizens: U.S. passport holders require a Saudi Arabia visa. Further details related to the visa application process will be sent out sixty (60) days prior to the trip. Ensuring that correct & valid visas are obtained remains the sole responsibility of the client. Your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months from the last day of the trip & should include an empty page to stamp the visas.

Travel will be by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles with professional drivers. While roads are generally well maintained, some long drives—particularly through desert and mountainous areas—can be involved, with stretches on winding or occasionally uneven terrain. Early starts may be necessary on days with extended travel or time-sensitive experiences like the Buraydah Camel Market.

Saudi Arabia’s climate is mostly dry and hot, particularly in the interior desert areas. Coastal cities like Jeddah may feel more humid, while Al Ula and Hail can cool down significantly in the evenings. Be prepared for temperature variations, and note that modest attire is required when visiting public areas in accordance with local customs.

Participants should be in good physical health, able to walk unassisted on uneven ground, and open to adapting to the local pace and customs.
